Event information alone was not enough to express the band’s energy. Visitors needed to meet the musicians, explore the repertoire and find live dates easily.

Cologne Salon Rockester
A website bringing together the Cologne band’s story, music and live energy.
What did we do?
We brought performance photography forward. The band story, musicians, repertoire and events each have a clear section, with practical details easy to reach on mobile.
Design decisions
Decisions, up close.
Each of the six musicians is introduced with a photo, name and instrument. On mobile the cards sit two by two.
The band’s story opens with a group photo and three figures below it; years on stage and the number of musicians come before any long text.
The repertoire is not just a list: tracks play right on the page, each with its era written underneath.
